Phosphène Blanc

2017 – 2018

Filmed within the confines of four walls and a single television in New Jersey, this project explores the concept of “static movement”—a memory unfolding on screen, blending presence and absence. The video holds a crisp, textured quality, reminiscent of a television’s flashing static, each frame capturing the gritty, flickering essence of recollection.

Developed in a style akin to Dream Recalls (2017), the piece creates itself from within, as if the memory recalls itself, turning quiet moments into a visceral experience of remembrance.
